SIV Warranty Policy

  • 1. Proof of purchase is a pre-requisite to claim warranty.
  • 2. Repair or replacement will be carried out through the company's service center or its authorized service center only.
  • 3. For units installed beyond the municipal limits of the authorized service center, all expenses incurred in collection and servicing will be borne by the customer.
  • 4. Warranty continues for the unexpired period after repairs/replacement, and repair time is not excluded from the warranty period.
  • 5. The company reserves the right to retain any replaced parts.
  • 6. Warranty continues after inspection by the service center, with visiting charges applicable for inspection.
  • 7. Paid installation or demo is available for all models and must be availed within 6 months from the date of purchase.
  • 8. The company’s warranty obligation is limited to the repair or replacement of defective parts.
  • 9. In case of unavailable spares, the company's depreciation rules will apply as a commercial solution.
  • 10. Only defective accessories will be repaired or replaced.
  • 11. All disputes under this warranty are subject to Delhi jurisdiction.
  • 12. The service center will determine whether repairs will be conducted on-site or at the service center.
  • 13. Extended warranty must be registered within 2 weeks of purchase.
  • 14. Replaced parts will be functionally operative parts.
  • 15. Repairs may involve new, refurbished, or reconditioned parts.
  • 16. Promotional or extended warranties are subject to model-specific details.

Warranty Exclusions

  • 1. Product not purchased from an authorized SIV branch.
  • 2. Product not used as per the instruction manual.
  • 3. Defects caused by improper use.
  • 4. Warranty void if the product fails under specific conditions like water damage.
  • 5. Unauthorized modifications to circuitry.
  • 6. Site conditions not conforming to operating standards.
  • 7. Serial number removed, obliterated, or altered.
  • 8. Damage due to lightning, abnormal voltage, or acts of God.
  • 9. Damage caused by pests or insects.
  • 10. The company is not liable for third-party claims, lost data, or economic losses.
  • 11. Warranty does not cover third-party software or content.
  • 12. Normal wear and tear are not covered.
  • 13. Damage from unauthorized accessories or software.
  • 14. Battery damage due to short-circuiting or tampering.
